Enjoy a round of golf nearby (3.5 miles), take a picnic and amble along the Caledonian Canal (4 miles), and enjoy fishing by arrangement along the Ness. Explore the wider region, abundant with Scottish fortresses, whisky distilleries, and gift shopping in local towns and villages. You may even want to cruise along Loch Ness in search of its elusive inhabitant.
On arrival at your holiday home, you’ll feel a sense of quiet seclusion in this tranquil wooded setting, yet the city of Inverness and its myriad attractions are just a short drive away. Step inside where the hall with its dramatic staircase and the light and airy interiors offer luxurious living; the living room with its double-height cathedral ceiling and open fireplace is the heart of this home and just the place to make plans for the day. The huge picture window looks out on to the river while the ground floor interiors and contemporary furnishings are mostly open plan, giving a relaxed ambience. The fully-equipped kitchen and walk-in larder is made for culinary hosts who enjoy creating family feasts to enjoy at the large dining table or in the banqueting area. For quiet reflection, take time out in the library to enjoy a good book or some TV time. There’s also a handy boot room, rest room, and a twin bedroom with an en-suite on the ground floor, while upstairs you’ll find six double or twin rooms, all en-suite.
