There are many wonderful attractions to visit in Orkney, including the Neolithic settlement of Skara Brae, Maeshowe, The Rings of Brodgar and Stenness. The Italian chapel built by prisoners of war and St Magnus Cathedral founded by the Vikings are just a small selection of the sites to visit. Nature lovers will be drawn to the area with its pristine coastlines, clifftops and marches, home to many species of interesting wildlife. Mountain biking, climbing, walking, bird watching, golf and a very wide variety of watersports are all available.
